Ulead VideoStudio 11: Flash Problem

Post by Sephirex »

I made a flash animation in Flash MX 2004, and I published it and made a flash movie file of it. I'm trying to put it into Ulead, but it won't accept it. What should I do?

Did you output your Flash file to the latest flashplayer version, which I think is still 9? If so try creating it for Flashplayer 7, as I think this is the version currently accepted by VS..

Sorry, but I don't understand what you're saying. I don't know how to output it into this flash or something like that. I just made a short animation in Flash MX 2004 and published it. I don't know how to output it to another flash.

I'm not sure how it's done in FlashMX2004, I use another program. It has the ability to output or publish to Flashplayer 4 through 9. All the different versions of Flash have different abilities, especially since version 8.

One other thing to try is to re-install the flashplayer for VS. It's located on the main disk or main program file. You would need to unpack it, using a program like WinZip. Then look for the Utilities folder. Located in that folder are the AVControl SDK and Flash Player.
