You didn't say what audio format is used in your "MPEG-4" file. The audio is a separate data stream whch is multiplexed (interwoven) with the (MPEG-4) video data.

Apparently, Movie Factory can't convert your audio. You can try using a 3rd-party program such as SUPER (FREE!!!) to convert your files to DVD compatible MPEG-2, with AC3 or MPEG-2 audio. You can look at one of the Movie Factory Project-Templates to find the settings (resolution, framerate, bitrate, etc) for a DVD compatible MPEG-2 file.

Or, you may be able to use SUPER to extract the audio as a separate WAV file.

Another FREE program the claims to convert almost any format to DVD compatible MPEG-2 is SVCD 2 DVD MPG.
