When you go to Share/Create Disc the burning module will appear. Look for the little cogwheel button at the bottom of the module. Click that and look at the bottom choice which is to auto repeat at the end of the play.

Thank you Lance, however the Auto Repeat when disc playback ends button is ticked and it does not repeat.

What am I missing?

Dang! That should have worked!
Can you let me know how you are creating this disc?
Did you complete the video, output to a new MPEG2 file then start a new project and go straight to the share tab and open the burning module? And after that did you select the newly created MPEG2, insert that and let it burn making sure the "repeat" button was checked?
If you didn't could you do that for me?
Also what kind of discs are you using to burn on? If you are using RW you might want to try an +/-R.

It should work that way, but it doesn't. Seems that is a bug that was never addressed.

Most, if not all, DVD players have the option to repeat a chapter, title, or disc. I simply use that to continuously play my video.

Hi Lance and Jeff

I love a plan that falls over :)

I am using an avi file I created from the original capture. This is how I burn all of my films and I usually have no issues.

I normally use Avid software however it has an issue so thought I would simply use U10+ to create the DVD. Ho hum.

I only ever use Tayo Yuden masters, not oem, so never have a media issue.

So the long and short is I can't make a looping DVD with uLead 10+. What about 11+ - does this do the job?

thanks

Hi Kerris, I was unaware that the feature is broken but if blacklab says it's broken then I would tend to believe him...just look at those big puppy dog eyes!

As far as 11 goes I have no idea. I have stayed at 10 for the moment and will be waiting for the next release to decide on an upgrade.

In the Preview before burning, does your video auto repeat? I tried this with both VS10 and 11. They both auto repeated. Sadly I'm away from home and do not have any DVDs with me to burn to, and I don't have a stand-alone DVD player to test it on.

Did you uncheck Create Menus? I think this will only work if you don't have any menus, however not sure as I've never created a DVD without a menu...

I must admit I didn't sit through the 58 minutes to check this so don't know.

There were no menus done and I did not have Create menus checked.

thank you for your thoughts

Seems that is a bug that was never addressed.

Anyone from Corel listening can you let me know how to fix the bug associated with this issue?

One of the first videos I ever made with v10+ I wanted to have loop, but I couldn't get it to work. We discussed it on this forum and it was determined that nobody could get it to work. Sorry, but I don't have the time to search for that thread for any more details.

Like Lance, I do not use v11, so I'm no help there.

I am running 11.5+ on Windows XP. I have no problem looping, actually everything loops (I think the default is loop). I also do not use a menu so that could be a reason. I usually will make a video and add a title and no menu.

yes this would work except I need it for a trade show where it will need to be a stand alone and also I need to use this facility for my clients DVD slideshows.

But it will go into a DVD player? And that DVD player most likely has a repeat function? I don't understand the problem.
