Unable to Render in MF3

I am unable to render a project in MF3. I have all program updates installed. I have been able to successfully render a disk image with only one or two clips. These clips have been joined and also seperate. My project I am trying to render has about 140 total clips that have been joined in to about 25 or so clips. There are also two slideshows in the project. I am using MPEG2 AC-3 files taken from a Sony DVD300 camcorder. Transition effects have been added; however, the same problem occurs without transition effects. I have attempted to create with and without menues. Any Ideas?
