editing a multi camera concert

Post by tokyopunk »

Hello,
I'm new here and my question is was is the easiest way to edit a multi camera concerts?

we shot a concert with 4 cameras, so I want all the videos on the timeline and be able to switch from one angle to the other...

(as you can tell, i'm new to this)

My office has both VideoStudio 11 and MediaStudio Pro 8 installed...

thank you!

Charlie Hills' book on MSP8 has a section on multicamera. I've used his technique on only 2 cams, but it's the same for four. It's the best 10 bucks you'll ever spend!

Yes Charlie Hills book explains it well. Basically stationary moving paths made up in a grid. I've used it on a nine shots set up. Three rows of three. The computer ran a bit slow but it was workable and saved a lot of time.
