Any Talk Of More Audio Tracks In Version 12?

Post by hrpufnstuf65 »

Are there only two audio tracks in version 11 plus, or is there a way to add more? Thanks!

You can't add any more audio tracks. But some users don't like the VS audio capabilities anyway so they mix their audio with third party apps then import the audio back in.

Another way is to render audio only to a "video file", then put that on an overlay track. You could do this 5 times (for each overlay), that gives you 7 audio tracks.

I tend to use MediaStudio Pro as my main video editor and it has 99 audio tracks but I find I only ever use one.

If you need extra audio tracks perhaps one alternative method is to create the audio track in Audacity where you can add as many audio tracks as you need.

Thank you both for the quick responses and advice. I'll look into both possibilities.....
