Audio editing

Post by EvilKiwi »

Hi Everyone

Is there any way to take the audio from your clips and edit them. I know how you can split the audio but can you import the audio into an audio editor?

Short answer Yes!
I export the audio to a .wav file and edit it in DC-7 (Tracer Tech). When you edit the file make sure you don't change the length of the file or you will end up with out of sync video/audio.

Ahhh I see. I was having trouble exporting the audio clip. How do I do that by itself?

With your video clip in the timeline (the audio does not have to be split from the video) simply go to Share>Create Audio File. That will create a wav file that is placed in your working folder. Simply use that file in your audio editor, then import back to one of your audio tracks in VS.
