Jerkiness is sometimes the result of using the wrong field order. Please read THIS POST that is found at the top of this forum and supply the requested information.

The only problem with the incorrect Field Order theory is that this is a slideshow, which is inherently Frame Based but can also be either Upper or Lower Field First with no problem.
Also, the jerkiness seems to be between the images. However, it is not clear whether soloman has used transitions between each photo and the j*rk occurs during the transition, or whether it is a straight move from photo to photo without transition -- in which case I would have thought a minute blip would be the norm??
Unfortunately, I have never used the Movie Wizard so cannot offer any specific help with that. My only suggestion would be to try making the slideshow in the Editor module and see if the problem persists.
Also, have you actually produced a DVD? If so, is the blip apparent there? I ask because the VS preview is really only to give you an idea how things look generally. And things more often than not look a lot better on the final DVD than they do in the preview screen...

You are quite right, Ken. I totally missed the point that he was using still images.

hey guys thanks for reply; in response to ken; yes iam using the automatic transitions which 'movie wizard' makes. I have also tried straight in video editor and still happens and yes after creating disc and play back in any dvd player still jerks. Also should note that smart pan & zoom effect is applyed with transitions. How do I change field order I will try that
