VS 11+ Create Menu for project

Post by tt2ride »

Hi,

I need help with VS 11+ creating menu.
I took this path to get to the menu section
>Share>Create Disc-DVD>Gallery

-Is there a way to customize the text on the menu? e.g. add more text besides what was available from the templates.
-Can I save the template so I can re-use?
-Is this the only way to create a Menu?
-I can change background music, image and font, but nothing else.

Thanks!

Share Create Disc.
From the Edit Tab

Click the text on preview screen to select text box, then select Font Settings ¡¥T¡¦

Double click the text to edit content.

Use the Customise option to change some options, depends on the type of menu chosen from the gallery.

After completing the menu ¡¥Close¡¦ the window.

Now Save the project again using File ¡VSave As or Save this will preserve all menu.
Open this project at a later date Share Create Disc and the menu structure should be there.

If you went Share Create Disc from a project, that is with timeline content and you continuing editing then the menu structure may mess up.

You are best Share-Create Disc from an empty timeline, then ADD video.

Thanks Trevor.

Let me try this tonight. I usually Share>Create Disc from one timeline project and then add more VSP to it to create the menu. I cannot remember seeing the File>Save As option.

Can I add more text to the Menu? I would like to include the title, date, comments, etc to the menu and able to save it for future use too. Please help.

Thanks.
