VFX files

Post by NoClue »

Ok, I was just looking through the program files and came across a folder called Vfx_plug.

I'm guessing these are plug-ins of some kind (VFX = visual effects, maybe?). However, how do you access them in DVDWS2?? They're not transitions for pictures, because the names are completely different.

Any ideas anyone?

So how come some of the files are not listed in the transitions scroll down menu? eg. airplane, adrift, etc?

What version?

What version of DVD WS are you running? There are differences in the number of transitions depending on the version you are running. Maybe the entire library is loaded, but only a certain number are accessed during the program load based on your version (Full vs. Express vs. Trial, etc...)

I have no clue then.

Do you think all of them ARE NOT still transitions, or only some of them?

It could be that they have the title airplane, but don't show up with that name in the library?

in any case, I bet if you get rid of the folder (or rename it), and then open DWS and try to add a transition, you will be hosed. I wouldn't recommend doing this because it might be bad for your installation...
