Hi,
I am having problems with AVCHD files created by the SD9. When I try and work on some of my clips in MF6+ I get a crash in H264VDecHPDll.dll
Some clips work ok (though they often cause a crash if I preview) and some, with the same resolution, bit rate etc. crash when I try and create disc or iso.
I am using Vista. I have installed all the MF6+ patches. I only have one copy of H264VDecHPDll version 1.1.1.65 17/05/2007 976KB.
Is there a newer version of H264VDecHPDll?
Thanks
MF6+ and Panasonic SD-9
I can't help you directly, but I can tell you that some formats and some format-variations can be "difficult". The files from your particular camera may be incompatible with Movie Factory.
You may be able to convert the files to a different format with a 3rd-party program. If you are making a standard definition DVD, the files will have to be converted to DVD compatible MPEG-2 anyway. Whenever I have a "problem file", I use SUPER (FREE!!!) to convert it to MPEG-2. However, I've never tried SUPER with a high definition file.
