Burning DVD with an ISO created in Version 9

Post by mathis »

I'm new to burning DVDs. I created an iso file because I"m not sure how many copies of this movie I'll need to make. I chose not to create any other directories to save haddrive space. Now I have the ISO file created, how do I get it onto the dvd disc?

I'm not seeing anything about doing this in the help file. I haven't had a chance to look through the manuel, though. I wanted to take a copy of it to church with me this morning, but it's time to go now and I didn't get it done. :(

Thanks!!

I also use DVD Decrypter for iso burning duties. It is quick and useful, stable, and best of all FREE!

Thanks for the info. I'll try to dig it up and give it a shot. I created the iso file with menus and then burned it to DVD. When I put it in my table-top DVD player, it didn't play the first time, so I took it out and tried it in my DVD drive on my computer and it didn't auto-start. After a little bit of digging, I found the file to get it started and it ran fine. Then I took it back to my table-top DVD player and it worked, but after the first "chapter", it went back to the menu and I couldn't get it to play the whole next "chapter" it kept going back to the menu.

Then I put the video back into VS9 and made the iso file without any menus. When I burned the DVD it started automatically in the table-top DVD player and then started over when it ended. I think I saw a setting there for it. So, now I have to work on using Menus. The few DVDs I did create with VS7 were without menus. But they didn't replay when they completed.

Thanks again for your help.
