Sound stutter between clips

Hi,

I have some video editing to do for a company and the DVDs they gave me are all single classical performances recorded in one big file on each discs; no chapters, only option is play. However, when I import the files in VS11, the disc is shown being split in multiple chapters . The problem is that there is a very fast but noticeable stutter of the audio track between each clips. When I create a video file, the stutter is still there. Is there a crossfade function for joining the audio between clips ? Or else, can I fix this or do I have to live with it ?

Thanks

There is no crossfade for the audio, but you can use a fade in/out.

You could go to the share tab and export audio file.
Open that audio file with a free audio editor:

Audacity.
This is a sound editor. You can export the soundtrack from your video editor as a WAV file. Open the file with Audacity and make powerful alterations, fades, cuts, mixes, clean out unwanted sounds, echoes and a variety of other useful edits. You can then save the cleaned up sound file and then import it back into your video editor.

HI

If you are using the ¡¥Insert DVD-DVD-VR¡¦ option you are presented with a window where you can select the ¡¥Chapters¡¦ or ¡¥Titles¡¦

If you select ¡¥Titles¡¦ then the DVD should insert as one video clip.

When you select Chapters, the video is inserted as separate files one for each chapter.
