Adding subtitles to a DVD without losing the original menu?

Post by vegetaleb »

Ok I have MF 6 and last night I did this:
Decrypted a DVD movie to my HD then went to MF 6 and chose to import the folder(video_TS) then I imported the *.srt file as subtitle file, everything worked fine BUT DVD MF 6 didn't took back the original menu and proposed it's own editable menu,so my question is how can I keep the original menu while adding a language subtitle?
Can we add several sub languages or only one?

You can't - Video Editing/authoring programs only import the videos within a DVD and not the menus.

I know it's illegal but only if I sell a copy to someone while here I have bought the original and this movie comes without subtitles, this is annoying because I speak and write english but I am not english educated,so some passages of the movie will be much clearer for me with subtitles!
