Using only Photo's to make a project

Post by rweiderhaft »

Hello,
This is my first post here. I use VideoStudio 11+ to make video's out of still photo's only. I use no video's. My question is: does anyone know how I can input images (pictures) in the middle of my project without having it effect all the other items, music, titles, etc.
Thank you in advance :D

You need to enable ripple editing. You will find the little icon for this to the immediate left of the main timeline. It looks like a small rectangle with lines going out to three smaller rectangles. Hover your mouse over it and you will see that it can toggle on and off. When you have it enabled, and insert new photos in the middle of your project, all the photos, titles etc will move to the right and stay lined up with their original photos.

I have tried that. If I am doing it correct, little locks appear next to the other lines. I insert my photo and it automatically puts it in the end of my project

If you put your new photos in the Image library panel, you should be able to drag them directly to the spot where you want them, and they should stay there, not go to the end. And the images etc to the right of that spot should all move over to accommodate the new ones.
