16:9 output

Post by EvilKiwi »

Hi

I have captured some footage that is 4:3 and using forum member Trevor Andrew's guide I have changed it all to 16:9 in the overlay track. My question now is how do I create my disc from here keeping the 16:9?If I keep the footage in the overlay track there is no sound and besides I thought you weren't supposed to have anything in the timeline when creating a disc. I think I have done thins before with some 4:3 footage but I can't remember how.

Thanks

To avoid confusion let's tackle one issue at a time. Having clips in the overlay track would have nothing to do with you not having sound. Right click on a clip and copy its properties here, paying particular attention to the audio properties. Is that the only audio you should have, from the video clips themselves?
