vs 11.5+ and dvdws2

Post by dmz »

Hi,
I went through quite a few hoops to get vs10+ and dvdws2 to work on the same box. Specifically, the import dvd function in vs10+ and subtitles in dvdws2. I am now considering upgrading to vs11.5+. Will this do any damage to any funcitonality in dvdws2?

Cheers

If you mean the two clashes
1. import from dvd
2. subtitles

You will have to re-apply both fixes, the problem is not in videostudio the problem is in DVD Workshop and that program is now one of those effectively dropped by Corel.

I have both vs10+ and dvdws2 working properly on my system now. Im assuming that if I install the upgrade to VS11.5+ that the dvd import for that will be fine, i just might lose the subtitle function of dvdws2. Is that possibly correct?

WS2 is obsolescent.

I know of no other equivalent.
