I need a 17 chapter menu
I've read the post on menu making and still can't get one for more then three links. I just don't get it. I've worked all day on this thing and have been through Premeire, Studio 10, and now MovieFactory. I feel so close here in Moviefactory. Everything is working except the menu. Why can't I cut and past to he first menu? Okay, I get that the first screen is a "title" screen. Why can't the next screen have all 17 of my movies as buttons? sigh

17 is a bit crowded even on a large screen TV.
The most I have created is 12 and you can download a copy from this link
http://phpbb.ulead.com.tw/EN/viewtopic. ... 188#101188
If you want to do more than 12 then you need to grab hold of a copy of PhotoImpact and create your own
Tutorial: PhotoImpact: Creating DVD Menu from scratch
You should have more built in menus that those with only 3 links, have you installed the extra content?

got menu but thumbnails not showing
Okay, I found a menu I can live with but the thumbnails won't all show up. Some are there, some not. I installed the patch 2 which said something about thumbnails not holding when changed. To no a vale. This is a chapter menu. Some show pictures some don't.

Just to make sure we are singing from the same songsheet.
If you have a menu with 12 thumbnails but you only have 3 chapters (or titles if using it as a title menu) then only those thumbnails in use will show up - in this example 3. The unused thumbnails will be invisible (in fact non existent). If you had 17 chapters and used a 12 thumbnail menu you would have a two page menu. Page one will have all 12, page two the remaining 5.
Does this fit in with what you are experiencing?

thumbnails don't show
No, I have 17 chapters. The first four have chapter names and show a blank box for where the thumbnail picture should be. Then there will be about 5 that will show up fine. then several more that don't show pictures..... I've tried to change the thumbnail....nothing takes.

Something obviously isn't right, those menus should display up to 9 thumbnails each. Please look through the following tutorial written for VideoStudio but the two programs are so alike that it all applies to MovieFactory as well.
