How do you get the free upgrade?

I have been on Corel's site and can find nothing - have I missed something or is it hidden somewhere?

I think this is a very nice gesture and one that you won't find through most companies.

Usually a product will be orphaned and that's it.

Does Corel send any kind of notification once they've received a request for the Video Studio software?

I emailed them the information a couple of weeks ago but have heard nothing yet, but don't want to resend unless I have to (assuming that it's normal to hear nothing).

I think you may find you will hear nothing until your application has been processed.

Just got an email from Corel to allow me to download VS 11.5 - FREE!
Will check it out in the next few days!

Where did you get the idea from that ANYONE will get a FREE download of VS12 which is still under development?

Well, I just received an email too and downloaded all the files. When I tried to install 11.5 Plus, it asked for a serial number so I inserted the one shown in the email under "Serial / Key," but it says the serial number is invalid. What in the heck am I supposed to do now?!!

Contact Corel... I'd provide a link, however their website is down. Anyway when it comes back up, go to the Corel website and look for their Customer Care link, not the Tech Support.

Just a wild guess here, could they be requiring that you also enter the serial number for the MSP program?

I sent a request for the free copy of Video Studio 11.5 on July 5, 2008 and received my links to the free download today. It took almost 3 weeks but can't complain it's free.
