DVD keeps returning to Main Menu

Hi all,

I have a DVD problem which I can't seem to overcome and wondering if anyone out there had experienced a similar issue.

I'm running with VS10+ but haven't really been using it for a while. Now I have a few projects to burn to DVD so I'm right into it again.

From an assortment of old video clips I've put together a music DVD of our band with a Menu giving you the option to select which track you'd like to watch. I have an Intro : Menu (4 pages) with 11 Tracks + 2 x "Extras" at the end - photos etc.

The DVD plays fine when left alone to play. However, if you skip tracks to find a later one then once that particular track is finished the DVD returns to the 1st page of the Main Menu instead of just continuing to the next track.

Any solutions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

The following thread is in MovieFactory but hopefully will describe the answer.
It is a work flow problem common to all DVD authoring programs.

I ended up re-doing the whole project with a Main Menu and Chapters (instead of just Chapters). It now works fine and as I intended.

I hadn't used the software for ages and was struggling to make progess, so thanks for the advice.
