30 day Trial Huh!

Post by nappa »

Now running Vista and tried all the fixes but just cannot get 3D to run, tried a download of 3.5 trial version couldn't even get it to load onto the PC!
Decided to try 3DPS 30day trial before buying, yea right! Told me my time was up after 3 days !!

I really would like to try it before buying, any advice please? Who would be best to contact at Ulead/Coral? I already have a fistful of their software & just uprated to Videostudio 11.5.

Sorry but I and all the other Moderators/Admin do not have any inside knowledge or contact with developers or people that troubleshoot and provide fixes, at Corel. :(

One thing to note is that Cool 3D, including Cool3D PS is being discontinued. So I doubt there are any personnel still working on the programs. See official announcement HERE

Are you running Vista 32 or 64 bit? I have managed to get Cool3D PS to run quite well on my Vista 32 bit machine. I don't use Vista themes, but the Windows Classical, and select run as administrator.

As far as the 30 day trial only running 3 days then expiring, if the program interprets some action on the system that maybe an attempt to circumvent the 30 trial, it will expire early. The only way to start the 30 days again would be to reformat your hard drive. If you have access to another PC that the trial has not been installed on, you could install and try it on that machine..

If it helps, Cool 3D and Cool 3DPS are not "officially" compatible with Vista.
You can however use them with a work round

At least you got 3 days, I installed cool 3d and it told the first time I ran it it was expired. To bad I was ready to buy it after the trial as I have used my friends.

The 30 day trial is so you can see what the program is and does to help you decide to buy it or not. It seems you have used your friends copy so surely from that you are able to make a decision?
