Antializing

Post by rich1842 »

When I import some clips from the camera, they appear pixelated at times.

Is there a filter to aid in clearing it up at least a little bit? It uses Quicktime Mpeg4 codec. Camera AIPtek HD. Currently own VS 10 and 11.

Not sure if there is a filter to clean up pixelation but I would doubt that there is.

Does the pixelation appear on the camera's LCD screen as well?
If so consider having the camera serviced.

No, it's not evident on the LCD.

Looking for solutions though, even if I need to find more advanced software.
Any recommendations?

There are more expert users who may be able to assist more.

But firstly how have you captured the video to PC?
I have looked up your vidcam and it appears to have either a hard disk or just a memory card, is that correct? We need as much information as possible.
Do you simply copy the files from camera to PC or do you use the Videostudio capture process and if the later what cables do you use?

Also have you tried capturing the video again?
