Slide Zoom and Pan

Post by Jack Chapman »

I am interested only in producing slide shows and find ULead much better than many more expensive programs. However there is a drawback in that a setting for transitions and Zoom/Pan can be applied only to all frames. There are many times when different effects for single frames are needed. This does not seem to be possible or am I missing the obvious?

Nope, not missing a thing. That is a drawback, even though it does quite well for producing slideshows.

DVD MovieFactory is primarily a DVD authoring program, and has improved on it's limited video editing capabilities. VS on the other hand is primarily a video editing program, with the added DVD authoring functions, that are not quite as good as DVD MF.

With VS you could use different pan/zoom and transitions for each photo.

I would have given the same reply as Ron - VideoStudio is better suited to this. What I would suggest is that you download a 30 day free trial to see if it fulfils your needs.
