Thumbnails not displaying at all in menu

I just downloaded MF4 (upgrading from MF3) and have had no problem inserting chapters and modifying menus. However, when I select the frame I want displayed as the thumbnail on the menu, it does not display any sort of picture. But if I double-click on the thumbnail, the box that opens will show the frame I chose. Has anyone else run into this problem? I tried to search Ulead's "knowledgebase support" but my browser keeps saying "page cannot be found".

The files I'm using are supposed to be AVI files but if I look at their Properties, it just says "File Type: Video Clip". I had no problems playing them in MF4, adding chapters, or previewing it after creating the menus--the thumbnail pictures just won't display.

I'm having a similar problem with MF4. The main motion menus work fine, but the sub-menu doesn't display the correct clip for preview. Frustrating the hell out of me. I've tried starting over from scratch with the same problem each time.
