Importing with VS11+

Trying to import digital camera home movies using the Capture?capabilities of VS11+.
My trial workflow has been >VS Editor, >Capture, and then load the mini DVD to be imported, into my D drive in my PC tower. Then >Import from DVD/DVD-VR, >D drive, and >Import. After "Import DVD initialization" is completed, I tick the small box to left of each "Title" displayed in the "Select a DVD Title" pop up, and them >Import, at the bottom of the "Import DVD" pop up.
After importing, a thumbnail for each "Title" ticked is then available on my VS screen for editing, and each and every one is labeled "vs08051." However, they are not found in the folder on the upper VS tool bar, nor can I locate them in any other folder on my PC.
1. How or where can I name these mini DVD's before importing them?
2. How or where can I direct these imported DVD's to my Home Movie folder that I maintain on my F drive for subsequent authoring, editing, and burning?
3. Is it possible to import these DVD's without them being automatically divided into separate "Titles" or "Chapters?" They were taken directly from our movie camera and weren't divided or broken into separate "Titles" prior to my trying to import them.
4. Any other suggestions to improve my workflow would be greatly appreciated.

When you see the tree folder down the left, if you tick all the boxes each gets imported as a separate clip. If you only tick the box for a group, that entire group is imported as a single clip.

VideoStudio doesn't give us the option of naming them and adopts its own naming method, it has been one of the items on our "Wish List for Future Versions" for a few version now. There are some handy FREE third party programs that will batch rename files/folders on your computer.
Three such programs are:

It works on Win95, Win98, WinME, WinNT, Win2K and WinXP.

Thanks a bunch for explaining that VS doesn't allow users to name their imported videos. That certainly explains why I couldn't find the spot where I could name them.
With regard to my question number 2, does VS provide the capability to direct the video being imported to a user selected file or drive?

They will be imported into your working folder, which is set in Preferences or on the Capture tab.

And you can, of course, change the working folder to wherever you want, either for one specific project or permanently.
