Hi~

I bought the combo set at Costco of the Video Studio 11 full version and the nestest PSP X2. The X2 had a SN. But the Video Studio had none anywhere and said it was full version! So I just assumed that it was already listed as a text on CD. Or didn't need one. I have throughn it all away now but have receipt. Can I please have some help in retaining the SN?????????
Anyone know?
Thank you
Sincerely,
Soph8 :?:

Welcome to the forums,

Clicking on the :?: in the upper right corner, and selecting About Ulead VideoStudio Plus will open a window where you can find the version. If the version has an SE at the end, it is a full Special Edition, however not the Full version that is purchased alone or directly from Corel.

SE versions are free versions that are bundled with hardware. They may not have all the features or functions of the full versions. The hardware manufacturers generally will tweak these versions to work with their hardware.

In fact, I was just yesterday looking at that same combination of programs offered on sale at one of our big software companies here in Australia. And it was said to be the full boxed version of VS11.5+. As such, it would normally have a sticky label on the envelope containing CD1.

Vidoman has assumed that you have actually managed to install VS already. If so, his explanation of where the S/N is to be found is of course accurate. But normally, if it is a full version, and not an SE version, you cannot install it without first inserting the SN... If in fact you have not managed to to install it yet, and have all the documents that came in the two boxes in the package, then your only way of getting the number is through Costco who would then need to contact Corel.

Have you tried to install it? some of the software Corel has sent to me had the serial number embedded in and so I didn't need to enter it manually.

Thank you you are right. Unfortunatlly the pkgs were tossed in the move. But I do remember looking everywhere for it and just asuming that it didn't need one as some software companies don't till later....

Well, I have looked in the notepad and all where the SN would normally be. Is not. This is really frustrating as there is nothing Costco will do at this point. They don't sell it anymore. Hummmmmm
Well I have written Corel and will see.... I hope they can help me. I know they have the capability.

I really would love to install this......
