VIDEO STUDIO 9 trial wont run

I just installed version 9 trial, and rebooted, i start the trial, click the try button the window pops up to choose either dv-dvd wizard or movie wizard or video studio editor, , I clcik on any one then the window with the lady holding the cam pops up for about 20 seconds then disapears and nothing happens , this is what version 8 did for me and that wasnt a trial.

NOW what,, wait maybe it this brand new dell Im using? ????? well?

I am having the same problem with the version 9 trial. However, my only previous experience was with Version 7 SE, so I don't know how version 8 would have behaved. For what its worth, I am also using a Dell computer, running Windows XP with 1GB of RAM.

I would appreciate any information about what might be going wrong with the Version 9 trial.

Not suprising, there's numerous other posts here about the same problem. Haven't seen VS8 mentioned doing this though, doesn't suprise me though.
