What exactly does one get with the HD Pack over what is in Movie Factory 6+?
Looking at the MF6+ features flyer, pdf file, I expected to see "*" indicating that certain features required the HP plug-in.
Maybe its me but I cannot tell if the HD pack is required to get all of what is in the features flyer. If the HD pack is not required to get all of the features in the MF6+ flyer than what exactly does one get in the HD Pack over features of MF6+?
It seems that maybe the HD pack brings MF6 to MF6+. Is that all there is to this?
Moviefactory 6+ & HD Pack?

No, not at all.
The HD-ADD-ON pack for MF6 PLUSadds AVCHD high definition disks to be created, BDMV (Blu-Ray Movie Disks with menus).
Also included are the capabilities of exporting AVC/H264 AVCHD compliant video files directly from the timeline. You can create custom AVCHD video files from low bit rates to high bit rates.
The Blu-Ray authoring module also has the capability of exporting or creating very high definition mpeg2 video files as high as 60,000 kbs.
I've been using the MF6+ HD-ADD-ON pack since it was released. At least on my end it adds exactly what I need to create High Definition AVCHD disks burnt to standard dvd's. An AVCHD disk playsback similar to how a DVD plays back with Menus/chapters etc. The difference is AVCHD disks are burnt to standard DVD's and use the AVC/H264 codec.
These High Definition AVCHD disks can playback in any Blu-Ray disk player that is AVCHD compliant such as "Sony Playstation 3", Sony / Panasonic / Pioneer Blu-Ray disk players.
Remember the HD-ADD-ON pack is for High Definition video.
The cost is $20.00 US dollars.
Hope this helps,
