i have been using MSP8 and DVD WS 2.0 for the last 2-3 years now (both english version) and i am very happy with the product but recently i got a project to input the title in chinese which MSP8 and DVD WS 2.0 could not accept it using windows IME.
I have seen the same post which was posted about 3 years ago so i am wondering if someone has a solution around it ? i have a friend who got Videostudio 11 plus and putting chinese characters using windows IME works perfectly without a sweat. i don't want to purchase MSP8 chinese version because this kind project only comes once in a bluemoon where someone is suggesting in the previous post and i also did not want to bother my friend too much.
So anybody who has any ideas or suggestion as my time to produce the video is running out soon.

I can understand your frustration! MSP is not brilliant with even the European non-Latin characters, such as Greek and Cyrillic, let alone Chinese!
I seriously suggest you use any graphics application, preferably vector (I use Corel Draw!), and design your titles on a canvas 720 px wide and height to suit. When you are happy with the design, export it to PNG format with your background colour set as transparent. You then put it in your video timeline on the track above what you wish to appear as your background, stretching it to fill the required time. If you wish it to scroll, use a moving path accordingly. If you wish to fade it in or out, use the overlay transparency filters. This works well.
