PhotoImpact X3: Tablet and Large Image Support?

eGreetings,

I had stopped using PhotoImpact 12 for photo editing because I had problems (Lag time, slow pen response) when using PI 12 and a Wacom Intuos 3 Graphics Tablet. This occured when retouching large photographs. Photos at 8.5 x 11 inches, 300 dpi.
I still use it for web graphics.

I did contact Wacom Tech Support and after changing some options in the Control Panel. They said it was not the tablet, but PI12.

I was wondering if these 2 things had been improved in X3.
1) Large file or large image support
2) Graphics Tablet and Pen support

Using my Intuos 3 with PIX3 on Vista and XP (SP3), I get a short lag/delay after lifting my pen from the tablet.
