Greetings,
I'm experimenting with capturing video from cable TV. I've noticed that when I import these MPG files there is a broken white line that shifts around at the very top of the screen during playback. Is there a setting I need to adjust, or is this to be expected when using capture television video?
Thanks!

You shouldn't see it if you make a DVD and play it back on your TV. TVs are adjusted for overscan, so you don't see any defects around the edges. (The white line at the top may be the closed-caption information.)
If you are going to watch the DVD on a computer, you may need to crop it. I don't think Movie Factory can do that... I think you need a video editor such as Video Studio.
