Well, that will be good news for a number of our users!!!

EDIT: Ummm... can you please post a link for it? I have been to the Ulead website and cannot find it there with the other update patches and packs for VS... I have also been to the Corel website, and it too only gives the December 2007 Hot Fix as the latest update...

Ah, sorry. I misread the title to your thread. You are talking about Video Studio 12 which 99.9% of the readers of this Forum do not yet have access to...    It would have been nice to think that Corel would at the same time have released an update patch for VS11.5+ to correct the AVCHD problems users of that version have with the Panasonic S9... I fear your post will now just create a lot of very disappointed people, me included, even though I don't have an S9!!

Then let's all move to Japan and learn Japanese ! :-D

I'm absolutely shocked, though, that Corel would create a version of VS only for Japan.

What about US ? :)

How about they move to Oz?? Nah, not a good idea.

Seriously though, what about a patch for the Canon HV's for S11, similar to the one for VS10??

You'd think they would have automatically rolled in the VS10 Canon patch to the new version 11/11+. But it seems that the radical re-write of the code for the new version which occurred was so different that the Canon patch code either wasn't incorporated or else didn't work with the new code...

None of us have any idea as none of us work for Corel. In past years, with past versions, the new version used to come out roughly on a yearly cycle, and around March/April. But clearly that cycle has changed since we are now in late June.
