ulead studio video 10 Plus install error - 0x80040707

Dear All,

l have recently purchase ulead studio video 10 Plus, when l try to install, it show:

Error NUmber: 0x80040707
Description: DLL function call crashed: KERNEL32. Get Locate info
Setup will now terminate

my PC system:
Windows XP home edition, service Pack 2
AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3000+
1.81 GHz, 1.50GB of RAM
Drive C:19.3GB Drive f: 258GB

l have try to copy the installer file into my drive f & install from there, but still doesn't work.

Anything l can do for this?

Wow, that c drive must be pretty full.. I would install on the F drive if you have room

I have 6 internal hard drives on my editing computer (see System button for details). I have Vista and essential operating system files on C:\ drive but the great bulk of my program files, including Video Studio 11.5 and my other Ulead products, all on drive K:\. To do this required no special tweaks. I just chose K:\ as the installation target. The program fully installed and works fine. So you should be able to install on your drive F:\ as well.

Thank you for reply, l have choose the Drive F as a target hard disk, after that, still get the same error. "setup will now terminate". Something is wrong here.
