How to change title colours

Post by iain »

I'm fairly new to VS and am using 11 but am tearing my hair out over title colours. I have searched the forum to no avail so either I'm being dumb or there is something wrong with my installation.

Page 88 of the manual says that in the Title Step Options panel one of the options is Color, click on this to specify font color.

However, I have no icon or button or label for 'color'. I have all the others that are listed - Duration, Bold, Italics, Underline, Alignment, Change Orientation, Font face, Font size, Spacing, Rotation by degree, etc. etc but nothing on color. So far all my titling has been in white.

Where am I going wrong? Can somebody help please?

Right next to the "Font Size Box" should be a small color square.
This is the current color selected for the color of the letters.

In your case it should be a small white square and may go unnoticed.

To change it, move your mouse over the square and left click on it.
A small window should then open up called Ulead Color Picker / Widows Color Picker.

The color you select will then become the default title color until you
change it.

Thank you mitcs0ke. How did I miss it? I can only think that my mouse didn't hover long enough for the function to appear. You've saved what hair I have left from being torn out! :D
