Web Capture from YouTube- Ulead VideoStudio 11.5 Plus?

Post by ALEX33016 »

I have been searching the forum for this answer and cannot locate it...so I apologize, if this has been covered...

Can you web capture from YouTube with VideoStudio 11.5 Plus?

I understand it says you can "import" from the web, but I am not sure if that is the same as capture. I am currently using a program from another company on a trial basis to feel it out and it allows you to capture from anything playing on your computer screen, including YouTube.

Before purchasing a program, I wanted to know if this option was available in 11.5 Plus. I currently have Paint Shop Pro X2 and find it so user-friendly...I love Corel. I just want to be sure that this is something that 11.5 Plus can do.

Any info would be highly appreciated.

Briefly No.
Some online video sharing sites have a download option but You Tube does not. There is software available to capture You Tube Videos though I haven't had the need to look for any myself. My youngest son used one such program to grab one of my You Tube Videos to keep in his mobile phone so I know they exist!

I would ask him but I am off on a holiday in a few days time and might not see him before I get back.
