Okay, I've read the posts on the "Cannot start the capture graph" error and assume the order of installation is my problem. I have 11.5.0157.2 Plus installed and can only capture to DV-AVI from my Cannon Elura 80. I know I've always used DVD or MPEG in the past but had to reload a couple of months ago due to some other problem. Ulead V.S. 9 and Pinnacle Studio 10 (which came with a USB HD TV Stick) can both capture to MPEG with no problem.
So, given the various patches and add-ons available for V.S. 11.5, how should I proceed after an unistall to install the different elements to fix my problem? Any help appreciated.
Correct oder of installation...

If the version number you provide is correct, then you have the Update Pack and the Power Pack already installed.
However most of the time, the order of installation should be:
1. Install the main program.
2. Install the Contents
3. Install the Update Pack
4. Install the Power Pack (which upgrades your version to 11.5 Plus from 11.0 Plus)
NOTE*************************************
Only IF you get an error while installing relating to the AVControl SDK, do you install the Hot Fix. If no such error occurs, do not install the Hot Fix.
