Problems with avi file
Hello everybody!I ripped a DVD into a .avi file (DivX Movie) and im going to edit that file.But when i try to open that video file theres a message "video 01.avi] is not accesible".Im using Video Studio 11.Is there a way to solve this problem?

Since the source is from a DVD, you would have much better success to stay with the MPEG-2 format. DivX is a much higher compressed format, thus more difficult to successfully edit.
With VS, you can insert files from the DVD (provided it is not a commercial DVD with copy protection), using the Insert DVD/DVD-VR/AVCHD command. Keep in mind that doing so, you will need to leave the DVD in your PC tray while editing. You can also copy the Video_TS folder to your PC HDD, and then use the same command. In the dialog window that opens, choose the Insert DVD Folders, and point it to where the Video_TS folder is located.
If you're determined to edit DivX, you need to have the DivX codec installed on your system. You can download a free version from the DivX Website.
