I've created blu-ray projects before (only single layered discs), and now when I'm trying to create a dual layer 50GB project folder, I get this out of memory issue.
Specs:
Intel Core 2 Quarter Q6600 2.4GHz
GeForce 8800 GTX
4GB of memory (although only 2.75GB registers)
Plenty of hard drive space (I even threw in a blank 500GB drive to test)
Sometimes when I load the VSP file I get out of memory issues, but whenever I try to actually encode the project, I consisted get out of memory error message. What gives?
Below are screenshots of my properties:

Out of memory issues when trying to create Blu-ray folders

Zclyh3,
In the Blu-Ray burning module under preferences (F6 Hotkey) there is a place to assign your working folder (if you weren't aware of this).
Check to see if that drive & assigned folder do have enough disk space available and that it isn't cluttered with other compilations of previous projects. Actually you will find a copy of the videos under that assigned working folder from previous projects under the Temp-> cvt_title or similiar wording.
The assigned working folder under the "Disk burning module" is separate from the standard VS timeline assigned "Working Folder", so you do have to re-assign a valid working folder in the burning module.
The burning module is actually like another program within VS11 timeline program.
Make sure the assigned working folder (Preferences F6 Hotkey) in the Burning module points to a very large harddisk at least 1.5 to 2 times the size of the Blu-Ray Disk project your burning.
The program does make use of this assigned working folder in the "Disk Burning Module".
Hope this helps,
etech
