Greyed Color/Enhancement controls in Windvd - SOLVED!

Post by pqr »

Hi All,

If you lose control over color and enhancement buttons in Windvd - then go to registry (regedit.exe) to the branch [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\InterVideo\DVD9]
and modify the key "DXT" to 0.

Do not start Windvd until you modify the key.

Enhancement controls will be active only if Hardware Acceleration is turned off.

I tried this on Vista Ultimate with SP1 installed. I The Video enhancements are still greyed out even with the Hardware acceleration unchecked. If I check hardware acceleration and then uncheck it, I can gain control of the Video effects again until the next restart. Any more suggestions or findings?

Thanks
