Can't cut clips or change their speed (DON'T REPLY)

Help!!

I'd like to view clips faster and cut them but all of a sudden both options have turned grey (are not active anymore). In German those buttons say "Wiedergabegeschwindigkeit" and "Video mehrfach zuschneiden", which should be someting like "playing speed" and "cutting video multiple times". What do I have to do to use both buttons again?? They don't work since I added an audio file though I could use them without problems before.

I think I've already found out what I did wrong. So don't reply to the message posted above!! Sorry, I wanted to erase the first message but I didn't know how ...
