can't uninstall videostudio 11 se

I replaced the bd pioneer drive before removing the software, now when I try to remove it i get a message that claims this is not a valid pioneer system. i tried hooking up the drive in addition to it's replacement but i get the same error message, i used windows ctrl pnl add remove programs windows vista home premium 32x
