Pan and Zoom Issues

Post by MeganPR »

Hi. I usually can find my answer somewhere on the board, but I am stuck.

I am using Version 11+.

I am trying to pan and zoom on consecutive photos in my project. They are in my overlay tracks. I customized the first two (they do different things) and when I am in the pan and zoom customization box, both are fine and do what I want.

For some reason, when I go back to the main timeline. I am having problems with them. The first one works properly, but the second zooms and pans in the opposite direction from what I set it, until the midway point, then it seems to pop back to what I asked it to do and finishes correctly.

I have played around with it, and if I get the 2nd one to work, then the 1st one does what the second one was doing.

I've checked several times back in the pan and zoom custom settings and it will work fine there. :?

I looked through the web board, but couldn't find anyone having this problem.

Please help! I am very frustrated! :(

What if you put these 2 pics in their own project and apply the P & Z. Now what? How do they react in the main video track? Just grasping at straws.

When I put the pics in their own project, it seems to be the same. The first one will work fine until I add the second one. Then it messes up, but the second one will work fine.

When I add a third, the first two then mess up, but the third works fine.

I even tried using their stock pan and zooms, but the same thing happens.

I'm at a loss!

This is the first time I recall anyone having this type of issue. I've tried unsuccessfully to replicate this behavior.

What OS are you running? Completing the information in your Profile will have this available now and in the future.

Did you encounter any problems while installing VS?

You might try updating your DirectX drivers. For some reason it fixes numerous issues. This is not updated by the standard Windows updates, and they appear to be adding updates quarterly. The latest update is June, 2008. You can download/install it from HERE
