Huge Question

Post by murraymile »

Ok, i know this is off topic by a little but bear with me. I'm looking for a program that allows me to have options on my CD-R cd that has my mpeg movie. I made my own movie (mpeg formate) from adobe premiere. Now I have nero to burn it as a vcd, but I know there is a program that will let me add options like real dvds do, but I dont have a DVD Burner.

Mainly my question is, is there a program that will allow me to have a nav. menu on a CD-R cd?

thanks

Target playback?

where do you plan to play back this CD-R? Computer, set-top dvd player, other?

Ulead's DVD MovieFactory is a nice package :)

You can make VCD/SVCD's (better chance of playing them on a set-top dvd player). You could make miniDVD's (DVD Format on a CD-R), but not many set-top dvd players will play them.

Take a test drive -- download the MovieFactory 4.0 Trial...

thanks for the reply.

what i want to do is play the CD-R on computers and Stand-alone dvd players. I'm aware that some stand alone dvd players don't support CDR/CDRW.

I dont have a dvd burner, so i'm looking for a program that will support a nav menu fora CDR/CDRW.

dvd burner...

dvd burners and media have dropped dramatically in price. Some burners come with a excellent bundes of software (they are scaled down versions).

I think the Pioneer A09 comes with a version of MovieFactory -- and I've seen the A09 for about $50.00 recently. Less than you would spend for just the full version of the sofwtare...

Just something to think about.
