auto add chapter causes crash

every time i try to make a dvd, i go to the auto add chapter option, after i set teh interval time and click ok the system crashes. every time. any ideas??

there is no more info... i create a movie from any videos i have, it does it with every sort of file format i have. i go to create a dvd, when i add chapters it crashes and shuts down the program...

There's plenty of info to give, namely what that post requests.

My crystal ball is at the repair shop, so instead of me guessing, that info you provide may help resolve your problem.

Don't know if it's a coincidence or not, but my system used to do this as well but has stopped since I performed a manual DirectX update as suggested in other posts. See post titled "Unspecified error 5:0:0 Need help." for the link to the DirectX update site. It wouldn't hurt to try it.
