Video Studio 9 upgrade arrived today, installation no problem in fact I had already formated my two h/drives ready for a clean installation. I didn't even bother to install Studio 8, just inserted the Studio 9 cd and away it went with no reference to Studio 8 at all. my manual say's upgrade on it but the cd don't ? must have been sent the full version ! if so, thank you to Ulead. Bri

The first disk of the upgrade CDs will have the word "Upgrade" silk-screened onto it -- if yours doesn't have that, it is indeed a full version.

I completely removed UVS 8 prior to installing the upgrade and cleaned up the Windows Registry manually, and I needed to pop in (but not install) a UVS 6 CD to install UVS 9. My UVS 7 and UVS 8 purchases were ESDs.
