error installing Ulead 11.5 trial version

Hello everyone. I hope someone can help me.

I get the following error while trying to install the Ulead Video Studio 11 Trial Version:

Error 2711. The specified Feature name ('TBYB_Plus') not found in Feature table.

Then after hitting OK, I get:

Error: -1603 Fatal error during installation.
Consult Windows Installer Help (Msi.chm) or MSDN for more information.

Then the installer exits. I'd really like to try and then buy this product but I'm not getting anywhere. I've tried re-downloading the file several times, disabling my anti-virus, rebooting, and also manually downloading the file without using the download manager. The file is "UVS11Plus_TBYB_EUS.exe".

Are you logged onto your (unknown) operating system as an Administrator?

Also have you updated your system recently? You may not have the current Windows Installer, which should be 3.1 v2. You can go HERE to download it.

Here are some answers:

I always log in with a user that has Administrator priveledges.
I have updated my system info in this profile for your reference.
I updated Windows Installer with the link provided, and then tried again with no luck. Also, I generally keep my machine up to date.

Any other ideas?

I am loading Videostudio 11 Upgrade and receive error 2711 like the person loading 11.5. I had to load the 11.5 as a test earlier today, but unistalled it and went through the complete file and registry uninstall for Vista.

That registry removal let me start the install process after VideoStudio repeatedly tried to uninstall itself and could no longer find itself.

i think there's something else left behind and really would love to have this program loaded as it can be the most frustrating install.
