Lack of Menu Templates

Post by Jack Chapman »

I purchased Movie Factory Plus 6 having already had the base copy. On install and registering and then installing the Bonus Content I stiil only have the singel menu template in each category. I raised the question by help email but got the reply that they were in the Bonus Content. I am now at a loss to know what is happening. Can anyone help please?

Activating the TBYB versions have inherent problems like not allowing updates/patches, and they do not come with all the menus, and templates. When you purchased an activation key, Corel should have sent an email containing at least one link to download the content files.

Click on the link below to Corel's Knowledgebase, FAQ on Product Activation, and then scroll down to the DVD MovieFactory 6. Click on the link, download the PDF and follow the directions..

Been there, done that, even un- and re-installed the software, still only three menus. :x

Lack of Menu Templates

Post by sdw111820 »

Has anyone been able to resolve the issue of missing menu templates for MovieFactory 6 Plus? I've been communicating with Corel Tech Support via email, but so far they haven't been able to provide a fix. Now they want me to contact them via phone and pay $15. It kills me that they put an inferior product on the market and then expect someone to pay for technical support.

Did anyone get a solution to this? I'm currently trialing the MF6 and having problems creating my own custom templates (ie many functions appear to be unavailable - I assume that is due to the trial version) - Those who have the lack of predefined templates in the purchased version are the functions for creating your own templates fully functioning?

Thanks,
