VS 11 slow preview while recording

Hi
I have VS 9 and 11.5 installed under XP SP3 with a Kworld 7134 Tv Tuner,the preview window for TV capturing(you know the one showing TV that you can expand to full screen) shows perfectly TV programs BUT ONCE I begin to capture this TV preview is suddenly slowed down in VS 11.5 using DVD or MPEG modes,once recorded to Hard disk the playback of this captured movie is smooth and not slow like in the preview!!!
If using the GBs eater AVI format the TV preview IS NOT slowed down while capturing...
Using the same modes under VS9 the TV preview IS NOT slowed down at all even in full screen while capturing...
SO why this problem occurs with VS 11 and not VS 9? I like to watch a TV program and record at the same time,not to wait that the capture is finished

so I will have to stick to VS 9 or you have a solution for VS 11.5?

Here's a guess for you.

With the release of VS 11 and subsequent release of 11.5 Corel "brilliantly" decided to reduce the available capture plugins from about seven different types to one, the IVI capture plugin. I wont bore you with the possible reasoning for this.
Anyway if you go into VS9 and then VS11 and select "Change Capture Plugin" you will see what I mean.
Most likely this is the cause of the problem and I don't believe there is a solution other than continuing to use VS9 when you want to watch and record at the same time.

Hum hum so you are saying that Ulead instead of stepping forward in technology is running backward?

I think with all my respect for Ulead that powerdirector if they get full screen preview for TV will be awesome,they have so much options like noise removal when recording or 720p-1080p HD capturing with an analog TV tuner...Common Ulead you were the best and the pioneer in this field,why are you going backward????
