VideoStudio11 Trial stops working due to security

Post by Mr316i »

Hi, my ulead VideoStudio11 Trial has stopped working due to a sound driver crash (VideoStudio11 wont work at 44 kH on my sound card). after restarting the PC and logging in I got a security warning that my information has been changed and that I am not allowed to use the software, I tried a few things like reinstalling it but made it worse! I don't get the warning any more and cant start the program at all.

This is a real shame I only had 14 days to go and my video project was almost complete and was definitely thinking of making a purchase in future.

what can I do to get it working again?

Thanks.

I guess you could try doing a System Restore to before the sound driver crash. But I don't hold out much hope.

Essentially, once the computer decides, for whatever reason that the conditions for a trial version are no longer valid, the only way to get the software to work again is to completely reformat your computer and start all over again.

Slightly less drastic than reformatting your computer is use a different computer if you have access to one.

Yeah I had to use another HD with an older operating system rather than reformat my current one, because of the older OS some 3D renders would not work so I had to rearrange to the project.
