Import of mpeg 2 file

I'm trying to import a file I burned onto a dvd sometime ago but MF6 will not import it at all. Error is shown as 0x80040901(2305). I used Gspot to look at the file and it's a standard mpeg 2 25fps 720x576 which is what I have MF6 set to.
I searched the above error code and only discovered that it has been discussed a couple of times before but without resolution.

BTW I already tried the trick of copying the folder to the hard drive and importing from there and that fails too.

Do you have trouble with any other files?
In particular mpeg2's?

It could be that this one has got corrupted.

No problems with other files and the file I'm trying to load into MF will easily open and play with power dvd and media player.
